Location: Remote with office space available in Spokane, WA

The Application Analyst is responsible for securely managing all aspects of TorchLight’s integrated technology including data integrity, user training, system support, system administration and management, as well as customization and implementation of applications and/or 3rd party solutions. In addition, this resource will support Salesforce and ServiceNow business administrator’s processes, data access, and troubleshooting issues as related to relevant integrations. This individual plans, executes, and finalizes integration components of projects, and assists ongoing integration support of new initiatives. This resource contributes to the growing integration practice as Intrinium, learning new integration skills and contributing back best practices for the organization.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Be the expert of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
  • Be knowledgeable of ServiceNow CSM, Security Operations, and Knowledge
  • Identify, develop, and deliver reports and dashboards
  • Create and manage all Salesforce.com reporting and dashboard functions
  • Monitor Salesforce.com usage for compliance
  • Maintain security for Salesforce.com ecosystem data
  • Interface with business, sales, and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products
  • Implement App Exchange platforms
  • Responsible for documenting design, providing estimates, performing unit and systems testing, and recording test results
  • Takes a leadership role to collaborate with administrators, analysts, other engineers, and vendors to resolve defects and issues
  • Research and development of new Salesforce.com prototypes and applications
  • Document best practices and operational procedures
  • Produce and improve overall documentation related to configuration and deployment of applications
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
  • Participate and engage in all team meetings
  • Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
  • Where required, expands integration skillset in relevant tools and design best practices.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on existing and emerging integration products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of industry experience as a Salesforce.com configuration analyst or administrator
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
  • Must have historical and proven knowledge and practical application of the Salesforce.com design, logic rules and execution of Salesforce.com configuration changes and APIs
  • Experience with database software and Platform-as-a-Service solutions
  • Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong technical background
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelines
  • Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently, and can produce high quality technical documentation and analysis
  • Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Developer Certification highly preferred
  • Experience with the following solutions:
    • Pardot, DocuSign, ScopeStack, Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of related applications, databases, and web technology

Abilities Required:

Ability to lift 50 pounds, drive for work use, sit, and stand for long periods of time, ability to kneel and reach, and vision including focus adjustment. Travel is not usually required and is flexible when necessary. Must successfully pass a Washington State background check.
