Location: Remote with office space available in Spokane, WA

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Contracts Administrator to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing and drafting contracts for our organization. You will negotiate contracts, advise upper management, and ensure all contracts are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Leads the contract lifecycle management (CLM) workflow
• Uses popular contract management software
• Knows contract compliance best practices
• Maintains confidentiality of all contracts
• Answers questions signees have about the contracts
• Keeps track of important contract dates and milestones
• Creates a database of contract templates, such as non-disclosures, non-competes, release forms, partnership agreements, purchase orders, employment contracts, and independent contractor agreements
• Mitigates common contract management risks, such as financial, legal, and security risks
• Responds to requests from internal departments and makes sure all contracts are drafted and executed promptly and correctly
• Craft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions
• Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts
• Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress
• Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters
• Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to what’s best for the company
• Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself
• Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met

Qualifications/Skills:

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
• Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
• Exemplify strong attention to detail
• Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
• Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office
• Previous experience working with contract regulations the related laws is strongly preferred
• Communicates effectively and has strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and has strong interpersonal skills
• Excels at multi-tasking and has excellent project management, time management, and organization skills
• Capable of professionally managing confidential information

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5-years of contracting experience. Experience can be substituted for a degree
• 5-years of experience as a contract administrator, paralegal, or similar role at a law firm or in-house legal department is preferred
• Prior technology/cybersecurity industry experience is strongly preferred
